We are going on a trip

“Going on a Trip” is a manipulative activity for preschool children in which they guide a string between plastic bottle caps according to model cards, creating a car journey route to a chosen destination (zoo, camping, or the sea). After preparing the materials (printing and laminating the mat, attaching it to sturdy cardboard, gluing on the caps, making holes, and threading the string), the child selects a model card, carefully follows the marked route, and tries to replicate it by guiding the string around the individual caps. At the end, the child compares their route with the card and checks whether they have reached the correct destination.
